Daniel Hirschberger, Founder, President & CEO
Daniel Hirschberger is a recognized leader in environmental, petroleum, and aviation fueling infrastructure, bringing more than four decades of hands-on industry experience to every project.
Beginning with AEAC in 1985 and the Company’s first aviation fuel farm project in 1998, he has guided the company’s growth into one of the nation’s most trusted providers of turnkey fuel farm design, construction, and fueling system solutions.
Under Dan’s leadership, AEAV has earned a reputation for delivering complex aviation fueling projects with a commitment to safety, quality, innovation, and operational excellence. His deep industry knowledge and practical field experience have helped shape successful projects for airports, FBO’s, corporate flight departments, municipalities, and aviation operators throughout the United States and abroad.
Today, Dan continues to lead the company’s strategic vision and growth initiatives while fostering a culture centered on integrity, technical expertise, and client success. Through his leadership, AEAV has expanded its capabilities nationwide and established itself as a premier partner for aviation fueling infrastructure projects.
AEAV and its affiliated professionals maintain contractor registrations, licenses, and qualifications across more than 30 states, providing clients with the ability to execute projects efficiently and consistently across multiple jurisdictions. This national reach, combined with decades of specialized experience, enables AEAV to deliver comprehensive solutions from concept through commissioning.
Our Story
Daniel Hirschberger launches American Environmental Assessment Corp. in 1989, focused on environmental remediation and UST removal for airports and fuel facilities.
AEAC secures its first aviation fuel farm contract in Farmingdale, NY in 2008, beginning a long-term FBO relationship that helped shape AEAV's future.
Aviation fuel farm work scales significantly from 2008 - 2014 as the team builds deep expertise in FAA, NFPA 407, and EPA regulatory compliance.
American Environmental Aviation, Inc. is formally incorporated in 2014. Sanford, FL becomes the primary operations and fabrication hub, adjacent to Orlando Sanford International Airport.
Brooklyn Navy Yard in 2017 demonstrates the company's broader capabilities. Projects for Gulfstream Aerospace, Signature Flight Support, ConocoPhillips, Fort Campbell Army Base, Element Terminal, and Salina Regional Airport help establish AEAV's national reputation.
2025 marks international market entry, starting with two Bahamas projects. AEAV now has the capability to execute projects across the Caribbean, Central America, and South America.
